On the morning of 22 July 2026, Associate Professor Lui Chit Ying, Assistant Vice President of Hong Kong Shue Yan University (HKSYU), along with Professor Leung Hing Fung (Head of the Department of Law and Business), Assistant Professor Xiao Huina (Associate Head of Department), Assistant Professor Chan Shiu Chung, and Assistant Professor Tang Yi, visited the Faculty of Law of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) for an academic exchange. They were accompanied by seven HKSYU students.
The visiting delegation was received by the Faculty’s Assistant Dean, Professor Yi Zaicheng; Program Director, Associate Professor Zhou Ting; and Assistant Professor Wang Jia.

On behalf of the Faculty, Assistant Dean Yi Zaicheng extended a warm welcome to the guests. He introduced the Faculty’s teaching features, research platforms, student competitions and external exchange initiatives. Professor Leung Hing Fung expressed gratitude for the hospitality. Associate Department Head Xiao Huina presented an overview of Hong Kong Shue Yan University’s Department of Law and Business, covering its curriculum structure, student exchange programs and graduate development pathways.
During the forum, teachers and students from both sides exchanged in-depth views on the training mechanisms and competition preparation strategies for mooting teams, sharing practical experience in cultivating students’ moot court capabilities.
The exchange enabled both institutions to deepen their understanding of each other’s academic positioning and talent cultivation objectives. Both parties expressed enthusiasm for future collaborative activities and continued joint development in legal education and related professional fields.
