Starting from June 28, 2026, Professor Fang Quan, Associate Vice President of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) and Dean of the Faculty of Law, led a delegation to Henan Province and Shanghai for alumni outreach activities. Accompanying her were Yi Zaicheng, Assistant Dean of the Faculty of Law; Mou Xiaobo, Program Director; as well as Assistant Professors Zhou Ting and Chen Qin.
On the afternoon of June 28, Dean Fang and the delegation toured the offices of Win Full Law Firm. Wang Dengwei, Director of the firm and a PhD graduate of the Class of 2026, introduced the firm’s overview and development journey. Several Henan-based alumni attended the forum, including Ning Jincheng (PhD, Class of 2005), Honorary President of the Commercial Law Society of Henan Law Society; Tian Tucheng (PhD, Class of 2005), President of the Civil Law Research Committee of Henan Law Society; alongside Zhao Ya (PhD, Class of 2012), Sun Zhaoji (Master, Class of 2017), Wang Jieyu (PhD, Class of 2024), Qi Lingyi (PhD, Class of 2024), Wu Tong (PhD, Class of 2024) and Guo Jingfan (PhD, Class of 2025). They reminisced about their school days and discussed collaborative development between Macau and Henan in the legal sector.
Forum Between Dean Fang’s Delegation and Henan Alumni
During the forum, Dean Fang extended sincere regards to all alumni based in Henan. She briefed them on the university’s progress, disciplinary development of the Faculty of Law and talent cultivation initiatives. She expressed the hope that alumni would stay connected with their alma mater, leverage their respective strengths and build a community for coordinated alumni growth. Alumni shared their academic takeaways and career insights combined with their daily work. This event strengthened the bond between the MUST Faculty of Law and its Henan alumni, establishing a solid platform for deeper legal exchanges and cooperation between Macau and Henan.

On July 1, 2026, the delegation arrived in Shanghai and held a gathering with local alumni of the Faculty of Law. Dean Fang chatted cordially with attendees, learning about their work and life in Shanghai in detail. She updated alumni on the faculty’s recent achievements in disciplinary construction and legal talent training, fully recognizing their outstanding accomplishments in various professional roles. She also encouraged alumni to keep track of the alma mater’s development and strengthen communication among themselves and with the Faculty of Law.
Alumni recalled their campus years, shared career growth experiences and voiced gratitude and continuous support for their university. The gathering deepened emotional ties between the Faculty of Law and Shanghai alumni and laid a sound foundation for expanding legal exchanges and cooperation across the Yangtze River Delta.
