In November 28, 2025, a delegation led by Dean Zhang Shijun from the School of Law of Capital University of Economics and Business (CUEB) visited the Faculty of Law of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). The delegation also included Professor Wang Jianbo, Associate Professor Chen Hao, and Associate Professor Wei Qingpo. They were warmly received by MUST Faculty of Law Dean Professor Fang Quan, Assistant Dean Professor Yi Zai Cheng, Associate Professor Peng Yunpeng, and Assistant Professor Xue Wenchao.

Dean Fang Quan extended a warm welcome to Dean Zhang Shijun and the delegation. She provided an overview of the Faculty, including its student and faculty size, teaching and research characteristics, research platforms, and external exchanges and cooperation. Dean Fang Quan noted that as one of the four founding faculties of MUST, the Faculty of Law focuses on comparative and cross-border legal studies and is dedicated to cultivating legal talents with cross-jurisdictional expertise. She expressed hope for strengthening future ties between the two institutions to promote disciplinary development and academic exchanges for both faculty and students.
Dean Zhang Shijun praised the MUST Faculty of Law for its rapid development and vitality. He introduced the efforts made by the CUEB’s School of Law in disciplinary construction and academic research, highlighting substantial potential for cooperation between the two law schools in areas such as faculty and students exchanges, joint academic platforms, and interdisciplinary fields like AI law. Dean Zhang expressed a desire for both sides to actively explore these collaborative opportunities.
During the meeting, the two deans reached preliminary intentions for cooperation, aiming to leverage the respective geographical advantages of both institutions to contribute jointly to the cultivation of legal talents.
