Faculty and students gathered at the event, bringing their favorite books and carefully preparing their sharing sessions. Before the event began, Mr. Xie Gengliang introduced the attending faculty members and encouraged students, who were busy preparing for final exams, to balance work and relaxation. He suggested that reading could help them temporarily forget the pressures of studies and life, allowing them to unwind. Following this, faculty and students took turns sharing insights from books they had recently read. Each participant shared in their unique way how the books had influenced and inspired them. The books covered a wide range of topics, including politics and law, social psychology, literature, and fiction, offering thought-provoking and engaging content.

Sharing the Joy of Reading

During the tea session, faculty and students engaged in face-to-face discussions about their reading experiences and reflections, fully appreciating each other's passion for books and the depth of their thoughts. As the university's final week and Macau's Handover Anniversary approached, a special lucky draw was held, adding a festive atmosphere to the event. This special "Face-to-Face with My Mentor" workshop created a warm and meaningful reading environment for the Faculty of Law, inspiring both faculty and students with a renewed enthusiasm for reading amidst the intense end-of-semester workload. Participants experienced the joy and charm of reading, fostering interaction between faculty and students while allowing everyone to enjoy the festive warmth during their busy study schedules.

Lucky Draw Session

For this event, the Faculty of Law specifically chose to purchase tea snacks from the Casa de Peliseo Sam Meng Chi, a social enterprise under the Macau Association for the Mentally Handicapped. This decision reflects the Faculty's commitment to supporting social welfare initiatives, conveying care to different communities, and helping individuals realize their potential and integrate into society through practical work.
