Tianyuan Law Firm Delegation Visit
Dean Fang Quan welcomed the delegation and introduced the Faculty’s teaching and research features, student demographics, national-level platforms, affiliated institutions, and international collaborations. Deputy Party Secretary Li Qi provided an overview of Tianyuan Law Firm’s history and expertise, noting that it is one of China’s earliest-established comprehensive law firms, specializing in capital markets, investment and financing M&A, and dispute resolution. She emphasized the firm’s long-standing commitment to collaborating with law schools through practical courses and internships to nurture legal talent. During the meeting, both parties exchanged views on local and cross-jurisdictional legal issues and expressed hopes for deeper future cooperation.
In August 2024, faculty and students from the MUST Faculty of Law were warmly hosted by Tianyuan Law Firm during their participation in the "One Country, Two Systems" Study Camp for Young Legal Professionals co-organized by Peking University and the Beijing-Macau Youth Legal Exchange Program. The practical exchange activities during that visit laid a strong foundation for this follow-up meeting. Both sides established a friendly connection and expressed aspirations to enhance collaboration, share resources, and develop substantive partnerships in talent cultivation.
