Grandall Law Firm Visits MUST Faculty of Law

On the afternoon of February 2, 2026, a delegation from Grandall Law Firm, led by Managing Committee Member Mr. Liu Ji, visited the Faculty of Law of Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). The delegation included Executive Director Zhang Lyu of the Grandall Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Business Center, Senior Partner Mr. Chen Xiangyi from Grandall Law Firm (Beijing), and Lawyer Ms. Xu Weining from Grandall Law Firm (Guangzhou). They were welcomed by MUST Faculty of Law Dean Professor Fang Quan, Programme Directors Professor Bi Jingwei and Professor Peng Yunpeng.

Dean Fang Quan extended a warm welcome to the guests and provided an overview of the Faculty of Law, covering its teaching and research features, student body, national-level platforms, affiliated institutions, and external exchanges. She suggested that future collaboration could be built upon the Faculty's Legal Practice Teaching Center, particularly in areas such as student internships and professional training.

Mr. Liu Ji introduced Grandall Law Firm's history and professional expertise. He noted that Grandall, approved by the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China, is the first group law firm in China. With over thirty years of practice, it maintains 39 operational offices globally. Mr. Liu expressed the firm's desire to establish cooperation with MUST Faculty of Law, leveraging the expertise of its partners and existing collaborations with leading universities worldwide to support the Faculty's talent development initiatives. Director Zhang Lyu outlined the background and development plans for the Grandall Greater Bay Area Business Center, sharing expectations for expanding future collaboration between the two parties.

The meeting successfully established friendly relations, with both sides expressing hope to enhance future exchanges and resource sharing, thereby contributing to the rule of law construction and talent cultivation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
