On September 5, 2025, Xiao Shengfang, President of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, visited the Faculty of Law of the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). Professor Fang Quan, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Program Director Bi Jingwei, welcomed the delegation. Wu Xueming, Director of the Office of the Secretariat of the Guangdong Lawyers Association, accompanied the visit.

Dean Fang Quan extended a warm welcome to President Xiao Shengfang and his delegation. She introduced the Faculty’s teaching characteristics, research platforms, institutional development, international exchanges and collaborations, as well as achievements in talent cultivation. She also expressed gratitude to President Xiao for his continued attention and support as an external advisor to the Faculty. President Xiao highly praised the development and accomplishments of the Faculty and expressed his expectation that the Faculty would continue to achieve excellence in cultivating cross-border legal talents, contributing outstanding legal professionals to the national legal community. He also hoped that the Faculty and the Guangdong Lawyers Association would maintain strengthen communication, and further expand cooperation opportunities between the two regions.
Before the meeting, President Xiao and his delegation visited the University’s History and Achievements Exhibition Hall.
