The Faculty of Law Student Won the Third Prize in the 9th National "Learn the Constitution, Preach the Constitution" Competition

The ninth edition of the national student "Learn the Constitution, Preach the Constitution" competition, organized by the Ministry of Education and hosted by the National Youth Law Education Center of Beijing Foreign Studies University, was successfully held in Beijing from November 27 to December 2, 2024. The competition attracted participants from 31 provinces, regions, cities, the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, as well as Hong Kong and Macau Special Administrative Regions.

A student from the Faculty of Law, Huang Sihao, represented Macau in the competition and delivered his speech. Assistant Professor Wang Wanli served as his mentor. In his speech, Huang Sihao focused on the societal and economic changes in Macau as his starting point, emphasizing the strong support provided by the Constitution and the "One Country, Two Systems" policy to Macau's Special Administrative Region. He combined his personal observations with stories about the Constitution and the rule of law to inspire constitutional spirit. As a result, Huang Sihao won the individual third prize in the college category, while Assistant Professor Wang Wanli won the third prize for outstanding guiding teacher.

The Faculty of Law has always adhered to the principle of "One Country, Two Systems" in legal education, placing great emphasis on the promotion and education of the Constitution and the Macau Special Administrative Region's Basic Law. It actively encourages students to participate in various related activities, fostering a spirit of patriotism and love for Macau among students.
