On the afternoon of September 27, 2024, Dean Fang Quan and her delegation visited the Renmin University of China Law School. The conference was attended by Dean Huang Wenyi, Vice Dean Zhu Hu, Professor You Chenjun, and Director Li Jun of the International Exchange Office, from the Renmin University of China Law School. Additionally, Program Director Mou Xiaobo, Associate Professor Peng Yunpeng, and Assistant Professor Guo Yiting from the Faculty of Law also participated in the visit to Beijing.

At the conference, Dean Huang Wenyi warmly welcomed Dean Fang Quan and her delegation, highlighting the significant role and contributions of the Renmin University of China (RUC) Law School in developing China’s legal discourse system. He noted that the RUC Law School possesses unique academic strengths in the areas of foreign-related rule of law and the advancement of Chinese legal civilization. Dean Huang expressed his hope to leverage the research platform of the RUC Law School in Shenzhen to collaborate closely with the Faculty of Law at MUST, aiming to jointly promote the establishment of the rule of law in the Greater Bay Area.

Dean Fang Quan first expressed her gratitude to Dean Huang Wenyi and his team for their warm reception. She then introduced the history, curriculum, external exchanges, and other aspects of the Faculty of Law at the Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST). Additionally, she highlighted the school's ongoing exploration and implementation of the "One Country, Two Systems" framework in the realm of legal higher education. Dean Fang expressed her hope that through close collaboration with the RUC Law School, they can jointly advance the innovative development of talent training and rule of law research.

The two parties engaged in comprehensive discussions regarding the future direction of their cooperation. They clarified their focus on collaboration in the areas of international rule of law, legal talent development, and academic research. Both parties are dedicated to establishing a strong strategic partnership and jointly contributing to the advancement of innovation in legal education and the evolution of legal theory.

During their stay in Beijing, Dean Fang Quan and her delegation visited several alumni of the Faculty of Law at MUST, hoping that these alumni would collaborate with the faculty for mutual growth.
