On the morning of August 30, 2024, the Faculty of Law convened the 1st meeting of the 2024/2025 Academic Management Committee and Welcome Reception for New Faculty Members, chaired by Dean Fang Quan. During the meeting, the faculty communicated important updates regarding teaching arrangements and other related responsibilities for the upcoming semester. This included emphasizing the university's commitment to risk management and outlining the follow-up actions required from all faculty members. Additionally, the meeting provided a preview of student orientation, academic lectures, student competitions, and other activities planned for the new semester. In the upcoming academic year, the faculty, along with its members and research fellows, aims to achieve greater success in student training, academic research, and community service.

The new semester of the Faculty of Law welcomed several new faculty members. During the orientation meeting, the faculty introduced Professor Yu Guanghua, Assistant Professor Gong Xiaohan, and Assistant Professor Gao Yang, who have recently joined the department. In a teaching trial session, Assistant Professors Gong Xiaohan and Gao Yang delivered simulated lectures on the subjects they will be teaching this semester. The existing faculty members expressed their appreciation for the performance of these two young educators and provided constructive suggestions regarding teaching strategies and practical operations to help them quickly adapt to their new roles.
