Dean Fang Quan mentioned that the Faculty of Law is one of the four founding faculties of the university. Since its establishment, the Faculty of Law has been implementing the “One Country, Two Systems” policy in the SAR’s legal education, offering students from various legal fields a dual-track approach with subjects on Macau law and Mainland China law. This teaching method emphasizes academic research in comparative law and cross-disciplinary legal studies. Vice President Jin Yan, on the other hand, presented the relevant situation of Guangdong Province Law Society. She expressed her desire to enhance academic exchanges, conduct in collaboration with universities, and promote the advancement of theory and practice, particularly in foreign rule of law research and personnel training.
During the conference, the participants from both sides engaged in extensive discussions about future cooperation in academic research, training programs and academic activities. Moreover, they all expressed a desire to broaden scope of cooperation between the two sides in the future, establish an academic exchange platform, and further advance the development of legal research.
