On April 27, 2024, Dean Hao Lei of the School of Law of Tianjin Normal University (TNU) and Dean Ding Peng of the Law School of Inner Mongolia University (IMU) visited the Faculty of Law. Dean Fang Quan, Assistant Dean Yi Zaicheng, Program Director Xie Gengliang, and Assistant Professor Peng Yunpeng of the Faculty of Law attended the reception.
Dean Fang Quan welcomed the visiting guests. The Faculty of Law signed cooperation and exchange agreements with the School of Law of TNU and the Law School of IMU in 2018. Over the past five years, a strong and stable partnership has been gradually established.
Dean Hao Lei of the School of Law of TNU mentioned that exchange activities between the two schools were somewhat impacted during the pandemic. He expressed gratitude to Dean Fang Quan for showing concern about the exchanges between the two faculties and for personally visiting the School of Law of TNU to deliver lectures. It is anticipated that the two faculties will continue to capitalize on their respective strengths and engage in more extensive cooperation in the future.
Dean Ding Peng of the Law School of IMU stated that the two faculties have maintained a strong long-term cooperative relationship, particularly in the exchange student program. Several groups of students from the Law School of IMU have successfully completed short-term courses in Macau, yielding positive outcomes. They aim to sustain our amicable relations and enhance exchanges in the future.
During this meeting, Dean Fang Quan renewed cooperation agreements with the two law schools to strengthen friendly ties. He hopes to continue exploring more cooperation possibilities in the future, focusing on student practice, teacher-student exchanges, and talent training.
