On the morning of March 25, 2024, Ms. Liu Ying, General Manager of the Trademarks and Other Business Department, and Ms. Zhou Yongxin, Deputy General Manager of the International Operations Department from Hengqin International Intellectual Property Exchange Center Co., Ltd., visited the Faculty of Law of M.U.S.T. Assistant Dean Yi Zaicheng and Assistant Professor Liao Si from the Faculty of Law attended the reception.

Assistant Dean Yi Zaicheng welcomed the visiting guests and introduced the teaching characteristics, talent training goals, and research projects of the Faculty of Law. He especially highlighted the basic situation and recent developments of the “Macao Research Center for Intellectual Property” and the Intellectual Property Law Alliance of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (IPLAG), spearheaded by the center. As a key overseas research base for the humanities and social sciences of the Ministry of Education, the “Macao Research Center for Intellectual Property” has been actively participating in the construction of intellectual property law in the Greater Bay Area and Cooperation Zone since its establishment. The IPLAG has become one of the most professional and influential think tank platforms in the Greater Bay Area.
General Manager Liu Ying and Deputy General Manager Zhou Yongxin expressed their appreciation for the development and achievements of the Faculty of Law and the “Macao Research Center for Intellectual Property”. They also expressed their anticipation of collaborating on professional training, subject research, academic activities, and professional competitions in the future.
During this meeting, the two parties established friendly ties and aimed to strengthen exchanges in the future, expanding the opportunities for cooperation between the two regions.
