On the afternoon of 3 September 2026, the Faculty of Law convened the first meeting of the Academic Management Committee together with a welcome reception for new faculty for the 2026/2027 academic year. The meeting was chaired by Dean Fang Quan.
During the session, the Faculty briefed all attendees on teaching arrangements and other faculty‑wide matters for the new semester. Upcoming orientation events, academic lectures and student competitions were announced to faculty members. Revisions to postgraduate‑level curricula were also reviewed and deliberated. It is expected that in the new academic year, the Faculty will build further achievements in talent development, academic research and administrative services.

The Faculty of Law has welcomed new teaching staff this semester. At the welcome reception, the Faculty extended a warm welcome to newly‑joined Assistant Professor Zi Moqi. In the teaching demonstration segment, he delivered a mock lecture covering subjects he will teach in the coming semester. The Faculty commended his performance and offered practical advice on pedagogical practices to support his smooth transition into the new working environment.
