The Faculty of Law at Macau University of Science and Technology (MUST) successfully held a special "Face-to-Face with Mentors" student-teacher exchange workshop on December 10, 2025, at noon in a classroom in the university's Block R complex. This event was organized by the MUST Faculty of Law and sponsored by the Macau University of Science and Technology Foundation. It was primarily hosted by two mentors from the Faculty, Associate Professor Peng Yun Peng and Assistant Professor Zhou Ting, with Assistant Professor CHEN Guan Hong and Associate Professor Dai Meng Liang joining nearly forty undergraduate students from the Faculty.

The Faculty organized this event to celebrate the 26th anniversary of Macao's Return to the Motherland and to joyfully celebrate Christmas with students, adding deeper meaning to the festivities. During the event, the two mentors interacted with students through a prize quiz game, with questions focusing on knowledge related to Macao's Basic Law, history and culture, national security, and other aspects. To encourage active student participation, the Faculty prepared 30 Christmas gifts as rewards; students who answered correctly received one gift each.

The Faculty hopes that through these engaging and fun knowledge quizzes, teachers and students can together review the establishment’s history of the Macao SAR in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, thereby deepening students' understanding of Macao's history and culture, strengthening their attention to and emotional connection with Macao's development, and further inheriting and promoting the spirit of patriotism and love for Macao.

In the tea gathering session, teachers and students engaged in face-to-face, cordial exchanges, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere. Students from different year levels spoke freely, sharing various difficulties encountered in their studies and the pressures faced during final exams. The Faculty's teachers listened patiently and warmly encouraged the students to balance work and rest, reasonably arrange revision time to maintain physical and mental well-being. Senior students generously shared their personal learning experiences and exam preparation strategies, providing valuable insights and moral support to their juniors.

This event not only successfully bridged the distance between teachers and students, fostering a warm and harmonious campus atmosphere, but also allowed students to deepen their understanding of Macao's history and culture amid the festive joy, guiding them to pay attention to social development beyond their studies and cultivate a sense of national pride. The refreshments for this tea gathering were specially selected from " Casa de Peliseo Sam Meng Chi" , a social enterprise under the Macau Association for Intellectual Development Services, demonstrating practical support for social welfare, caring for disadvantaged communities, and assisting persons with intellectual disabilities in employment and social integration.
