On the afternoon of October 22, 2025, Vice Chairman Ge Zhenhai and a delegation from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Foshan Committee visited the Faculty of Law of the Macau University of Science and Technology. Assistant Dean Yi Zai Cheng and Program Director Xie Geng Liang attended to welcome the guests. They were accompanied by Mr. Wang Bowei Edison, a Foreign Academician of the Ukrainian National Academy of Engineering and Chairman of Foshan Linzhi Polymer Materials Technology Co., Ltd., as well as Ms. Luo Xiaobing and Mr. Yao Kuncheng, both staff members of the Committee.

Professor Yi Zai Cheng welcomed the visiting guests and provided an overview of the Faculty of Law, including its student and faculty scale, teaching features, and external collaborations. He particularly highlighted the “Macau Intellectual Property Research Center” and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Intellectual Property Legal Alliance (IPLAG), which have become influential platforms in the region.
Mr. Ge Zhenhai introduced the basic situation of the Foshan Committee and expressed hopes for collaboration in areas such as intellectual property and commercial arbitration.
This meeting established friendly ties between both parties, with an expectation for strengthened communication and further expansion of cooperation between the two regions.
