On August 29, 2025, the Faculty of Law held the first meeting of the Academic Management Committee for the 2025/2026 academic year, along with a welcome session for new faculty members. The meeting was chaired by Dean Fang Quan. During the session, the Faculty announced the teaching arrangements and related tasks for the new semester, previewed upcoming events such as freshmen orientation, academic lectures, and student competitions, and reviewed issues including new course applications and thesis writing guidelines. It is hoped that in the new academic year, the Faculty and all its teaching and research staffs will continue to excel in student development, academic research, and community service.
The Faculty of Law welcomes new teaching staff at the start of the semester. During the welcome session, the Faculty extended a warm welcome to Assistant Professor Duan Yuanyi, who recently joined the team. In the teaching demonstration segment, Assistant Professor Duan Yuanyi conducted a demo lecture for a course she will be teaching in the new semester. Faculty members acknowledged the young teacher's performance and actively provided suggestions regarding teaching experience and practical skills, hoping she will quickly adapt to her teaching role in the new environment.
