The finals of the 4th National Public Speaking Competition on China’ Constitution was held in Beijing International Conference Center in Tai Hing on 30 November 2019. The event was organized by the Ministry of Education, hosted by Beijing Foreign Studies University and undertook by Foreign Language Teaching and Research Press. The competition attracted 206 contestants in 34 teams from 31 provinces, Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, Hong Kong and Macau SAR. Zhao Jiayi and Liu Jianyu from Faculty of Law won the third prize in “Speaking Contest” and “Knowledge Contest” respectively. Moreover, Assistant Professor Mou Xiaobo from Faculty of Law also won the third prize of the outstanding supervisor.

Zhao Jiayi was a student from Faculty of Law, presented a speech which topic was “The Constitution in My Heart” and he won the third prize in the “Speaking Contest”. Liu Jianyu from Faculty of Law won the third prize in the “Knowledge Contest” section. He and other Macau team members had passed the segments of the multiple-choice questions, true or false questions, judgement section, logic section and multistage question and “guess what did you say” section throughout the whole “Knowledge Contest”.
