Dean Fang Quan of the Faculty of Law stated that the exhibition, themed “National Security Concept, 10th Anniversary of Innovation Leadership”, focuses on displaying the national security leadership system, the rule of law system, strategic system, and policy system to effectively implement the overall national security concept. The exhibition has yielded significant results in protecting national sovereignty, security and development interests since President Xi Jinping introduced the concept a decade ago. Additionally, under the guidance of the national security concept, the SAR government has enforced the principle and continuously fortified the defense of the Macao Special Administrative Region to safeguard national security. The Faculty of Law has consistently upheld the principle in higher legal education. Moving forward, the faculty will persist in contributing to the study of “one country, two systems" and national security theory, and in nurturing versatile legal professionals who are devoted to their country and Macao.

The students of Faculty of Law who visited together expressed that the visit was very meaningful. It not only strengthened their legal concepts and national consciousness, but also enhanced their legal literacy, social responsibility, patriotism, and affection for Macao. National security is a fundamental requirement for the country’s development and the well-being of its people. It serves as a crucial foundation for social prosperity and stability. Every Chinese citizen bears the responsibility and obligation to protect national security. As young Chinese individuals, we must shoulder this responsibility and contribute to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. We should also actively contribute to national security in Macao, a land that is open and inclusive.

Teachers and students of the Faculty of Law also took part in the “Cyber Security in My Heart” essay competition, a series of promotional and educational events co-organized by the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and the Liaison Office of the Central People’s Government in the Macao Special Administrative Region, and received awards.
